The Swiss Army knife was first produced in Switzerland in the late 19th century. First manufactured for the Swiss Army, it is now the most favoured type of pocket knife globally. Victorinox and Wenger, the manufacturers and proprietors of the patented term ‘Swiss Army knife’, still issue the Swiss Army with about 60,000 of these knives each year. With a large number of instruments, the Swiss Army knife is favoured among travellers, army personnel, hikers, or those just searching for the ideal present for somebody. With their globally recognised name, they are one of the most well known products in the world.

The founder of Victorinox, Karl Elsener, was the first person to design and manufacture the Swiss Army knife. After realising the Swiss Army were using knives made in Germany, he was determined to produce his own product to ensure locally made products were issued to armed forces. As well as Victorinox making the knives for the Swiss Army, another Swiss company named Wenger was also allowed to make these knives. These two companies still own the trademarked term ‘Swiss Army knife’ and produce the knives for the public and Swiss Army today. The name ‘Swiss Army knife‘ was actually first utilised by US soldiers in the second World War, as they couldn’t say its Swiss name. The name has now become legendary.

The Swiss Army knife is manufactured in a variety of models, sizes and colours. Popular tools found on most of the knives include 2 blades, tooth-pick, pair of tweezers, corkscrew, bottle open, scissors and nail file. Some more advanced models also feature both a Phillips-head and flat-head screwdriver, ballpoint pen, can opener, saw, magnifying glass, wrench, fish scaler and pair of pliers. With Swiss Army knives being utilized for a number of different uses, a large number of models are made. Victorinox, for example, produces over 100 various sizes and models. Their most modern range, ‘Victorinox Cybertools’, feature the latest technologically savy instruments such as music players, digital clocks, laser pointer, altimeters and USB thumb drives. The Common range of knives are about 9cm long, however some of the more advanced knives range from just a few centimetres, to a knife produced by Wenger called ‘The Giant’, which was 22cm long.

Cable TV is not as hot now as it was nearly thirty years ago. AT&T has been gaining millions of past cable users around the world in the past few years, because they are now providing exceptional programming choices at a very reasonable price. Are you thinking about switching too? Think about what can happen when you get AT&T Uverse.

The primary reason is because of the huge selections of channels to choose from. You’ll almost constantly find something that will interest you. Pick a AT&T bundle design to meet your needs. The family bundle contains the most popular family friendly channels at an affordable cost. And, for those wanting even more, choose from a large selection of options offering from 150 to 250 viewing stations. If you are an avid sports enthusiast, ensure yourself that you will not fail to see the next big game and add the sports bundle to any normal viewing bundle. Movie Buffs will provide the latest movie packages feature that allows you to enable 30 channels to your line-up.

In addition, HD channels are also available to with 100 channels available more than that of what cable could provide. Thus, if you’re family is using HDT, chances are, you’re not getting value for your money, its less than half of what Uverse could provide.

If anyone in your family is an avid sports fan, AT&T Uverse is a necessity. There are games that are blocked in a particular region or local executive chose not to air it because of the rating it will get. AT&T Uverse covers all game events irrespective of the number of viewers. You can look at soccer games taking place on the other side of the earth, or every pro football match played on Sundays. For people who loves to watch sports, then this doesn’t get much better than that.

It is obvious to see that there are many stuffs to get excited over when you think of shifting from cable TV to AT&T Uverse plus the offers are really good. AT&T Uverse package is about the same price as that offered by cable providers, but for Uverse to enjoy, they offer a free TV and installation service to those who subscribe with added feature. Once you do this, you will be wondering why you did not make that switch the moment it was available.

If you’ve been thinking about ordering att uverse be ready to think about competition ; unless you like choppy signals plus never ending hold times to get in touch with a rep on the phone.

You’ve found lots of favorable u-verse experiences so I’m giving a different review. I was totally amazed at the amount of people that were so positive.

I’m heated because I was sitting idle for 47 minutes to speak with the billing dept because my first bill was a shakedown notice and a charge of $279. After transferring to several imbecils, I was finally passed to someone who allegedly could make a modification on the amount. After 20 mins on hold, I was charged that the first person I fought with could only modify it. So, that was finally an hour long call that didn’t fix anything since the other office closed while I was wasting time.

In addition to the recent time, I’ve had a guy come to my home 11 times for the grainy signal. Nothing changes.

The only reasonI selected them is because the station variety has potential and the amount for the service lower than the other providers. But in all honesty, I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy.
